Clean, dry and supported.

The Partnership for Children of the Foothills Diaper Bank helps families access diapers and diapering supplies when they need extra support. Each visit is designed to be welcoming, respectful and simple, while also helping families connect with local resources, early childhood programs and community support.

About the Diaper Bank

Diaper Bank resource

Diapers are an essential need for young children, but they can be a difficult monthly expense for families. The Diaper Bank provides diapering supplies to eligible families while creating a trusted point of connection for parents and caregivers.

Our goal is to do more than distribute diapers. We want families to feel supported and connected to resources that can help children grow healthy, safe and ready to learn.

Who Can Receive Diapers?

Families may be eligible to receive diapering supplies if they:

  • Live in Rutherford County
  • Have a child who needs diapers in sizes newborn through 7
  • Complete a brief intake form that helps us provide the correct diaper size and connect families with optional resources
  • Request diapers no more than once per month, per eligible child

A parent or guardian may also list up to two trusted people who are allowed to pick up diapers on the family’s behalf.

What May Families Receive?

  • Up to 40 diapers per eligible child each month, based on current inventory
  • Diapers in sizes newborn through 7, when available
  • Wipes, ointment or other diapering items when donations allow
  • Optional information about food assistance, childcare, parenting support, health services, early childhood resources and other community programs

Because the Diaper Bank is supported through donations, specific brands, styles, sizes and bonus items may vary by availability.

How to Request Diapers

Getting started is simple:

  1. Complete a brief intake form.
  2. Share the diaper size needed for each child.
  3. Visit the designated distribution location during scheduled distribution hours.
  4. Pick up available diapers and supplies once per month, per eligible child.

More Than Diapers

The Diaper Bank is part of the Partnership for Children’s work to support young children and strengthen families across the Foothills. Families who visit the Diaper Bank may also learn about programs and services related to:

  • Early learning and school readiness
  • Childcare and preschool resources
  • Parenting support and education
  • Food, housing, healthcare and employment resources
  • Home visiting and infant/toddler support

These conversations are always optional. Families can request diapers without pressure and can choose whether they would like additional information or referrals.

Support the Diaper Bank

The Diaper Bank depends on donations and community partners to keep shelves stocked for local families. Churches, civic groups, businesses, schools and individuals can help by donating diapers, hosting a diaper drive or volunteering during distribution days.

Most-needed items may include:

  • Diapers in sizes 3, 4, 5 and 6
  • Baby wipes
  • Diaper cream or ointment
  • New, unopened diapering supplies
