Early Childhood Resource Library

Partnership for Children of the Foothills (PCF) offers the Growing Minds Early Childhood Resource Library, which serves families with children from birth through age five and childcare facilities and professionals in Polk and Rutherford Counties.

The Growing Minds Early Childhood Resource Library connects families and early childhood professionals with the types of materials they need to stimulate growth and learning by children ages five and younger. The library offers lending toys, education materials, and theme kits that engage children in a fun, age-appropriate manner and facilitate the mental and literacy development that will help them succeed in school and life.

Each toy and kit are chosen or designed with the child in mind, with a goal to provide experiences that help children connect and learn about things they are already interested in plus new areas that introduce reading, math, and science activities in an entertaining, hands-on way.

The library’s resources help parents encourage their children to learn and explore while also supporting early childhood caregivers and education professionals with materials and resources that complement their curriculum and lesson plans.

Those interested in learning more about the Growing Minds Early Childhood Resource Library and its offerings may contact program coordinator Kay Dawkins at (828) 245-6132 or resourcelibrary@pfcfoothills.org.
